This is one of very few Longline bra's that I could find (and could sneak away and photograph)
It's by Sass and Bide for loveable, and it's a silk satin moulded cup with fexible boning that was very rigid...

The deign lines were highlighted with topstitching (yellow)

Once the bra was tried on, there were difficulties with the rigidity of the garment. This may be a sizing thing, but due to the nature of the long line, and the fact that there was no elastication around the hem, it didn't sit well under clothing, and was very restricing to wear.
There was not enough elastication around the top either so the cups gaped, it was not a well fitting bra (even after multiple sizes were tried on for fit)
This highlights the importance of elastication in relation to comfort/fit!!
This is really interesting... its kind of alerting me to the difficulties that may possibly be encountered when completing my mid line bra. I've noticed this issue of gaping bra cups in other brands and styles no matter what size may be tried on... it really shows how hard it is to find true quality undergarments in the marketplace.
